My name is Amy Akopyan and I am the Program Director here at Believe Detox. I often get asked why I want to work with the population I work with and the answer is simple, because my heart and soul is invested in this. I am planting seeds and saving lives. I’m giving hope to people who lost all hope and faith in life. I’m showing the possibilities to those who feel that there is nothing left for them to live for. We’ve all been there at some point in our lives and I am proud to be part of someone’s journey in saving their own. I do this work with compassion and genuine love and care for each and everyone that walks through these doors. I take this to heart and will do all I can to show someone that there is a purpose for them in this life.
